Comfortable Escape in Historic Downtown Savannah

Tout dans la maison était nickel! Un charme fou, confortable et spacieux.

It was Really Cool! We didn’t get in till late but it was all we were expecting and actually more!!!!

Parking was tight and one person took up both parking places. Fortunately we didn’t have a neighbor so we parked over in their parking spot.

Comfortable escape was very nice. It was just like the pictures and description stated. Nice bathrooms and loved the porches. Short walk to Forsyth Park and Kroger. Several restaurants are walkable as well. Neighborhood is quiet.

At no fault to the rental company, the people staying in the apartment above us were so loud. It sounded like they were moving furniture for several hours. It started in the living room around 9 pm and was so loud we could not even hear the tv after about an hour and half. We finally gave up and went to bed. I think they knew and followed🫣the same horrible nonstop racket in the bedroom for almost 2 hours. We could not sleep and I had a sleep mask with Bluetooth turned up. My brother stayed in the bedroom in the middle of the hall and he said the same thing “ it was like they were dragging something” above his room for several hours. Again the noise was no fault of the apartment/ rental company. Also, the bed in the back bedroom was not comfortable. However my brother said the bed he slept in was great. One more thing, read all street signs or park in back. Several cars were parked on the street and apparently it was a no park zone the night we stayed due to street cleaner scheduled to clean and every car on our side of the street got a ticket. Each side of the street is a different night so read sign before parking at night.

Beautiful location. Very convenient to every thing.

Could hear every movement from the upstairs.

The location was great. The front porch was wonderful.

I would have liked to have had a gas grill available. There was a charcoal grill that was in bad shape.

Loved the quaintness of the place. Original floors. loved the charm. easy to get places in walking distance.

I think a little more communication would have been nice. When we arrived, I had no information on how to get in. I received that information the day we left. Also, didn't realize there was an alley way to park and put the trash till we were leaving and decided to go outback. no big deal but would have been nice to know.
