Moorlands

Enjoyable and plenty of choice Lovely outlook and pleasant room

Everything was perfect! Very clean and looked just as described. The Moorelands are the kindest people. We felt at home from the first moment. I have mobility difficulties and Leslie found a wheelchair to be borrowed by us during our stay. This enabled us to see so many things - just making the dream trip we had been planning for so long so enjoyable! We made so many memories that will be cherished for the rest of our lives.

A very nice period property, with a large garden area to enjoy.

Having a shared bathroom is unusual, although on this occasion there was only myself using it.

I had such a wonderful stay here. The location is absolutely perfect, and the beauty of the grounds is simply stunning. Waking up to those incredible views each morning was something truly special. The owners are such warm, welcoming, and genuinely lovely people — I honestly couldn’t have met anyone nicer. Thank you so much for your kindness and hospitality, and for the amazing Scottish breakfast! I also had one of the best sleeps I’ve had in a long time — the bed was incredibly comfortable, and the shower was excellent. I really appreciated the helpful guidance on places to visit as well. I will definitely be back!
