Mayertorne Cottage

Beautiful property, close to family we were visiting. Anthony was very accommodating about a late checkin due to our flight being delayed coming6 hours, and also our early departure time.

It was a great location and place to stay, the owners are very hospitable and even better if you like dogs (as we do :)) Beds were comfortable and breakfast was perfect with a choice, cooked or prepared to your preference.

Everything was great, it was a bit hot in the room, but it was due to the beautiful weather outside, which we were very fortunate to have. We did have a bit of road noise but this can't be helped and we had earplugs so a good night sleep.

Very friendly host and a very comfortable night. Very tasty and good quality breakfast.

The general feel of the property was rather dated , Very gloomy entrance hall. Near a busy road which could be difficult to exit onto at busy times.

Excellent location for peace and quiet and for walks in the chilterns. Very friendly hosts made us feel at ease and Anthony cooks a quality breakfast.

Mr. Sykes was a great host and Mayertorne Cottage is a beautiful English gem.

Small thing but couldn't find any milk for tea

Gorgeous area and gardens around the cottage and close to family event that we were attending.
