Talbott Tavern and Inn

An excellent location right in the middle of Bardstown; a great place to walk around and shop. The cooked to order breakfast was excellent. We stayed in the Daniel Boone room, which looks recently refreshed, and it was very comfortable. A memorable visit! Note: Daniel Boone is right over the bar, so built in entertainment!

My wife said she didn't like the shower curtain.

Great location with friendly staff. Room was very comfortable, we enjoyed the historical vibe. If we ever make it back to that part of the country we will definitely stay in the Tavern again.

Great, freshly made breakfast! Great history, interesting rooms, yummy dinner dining experience, very friendly staff.It was our second time staying there and we'll come back again. Love the tea and coffee service in the rooms!

The beds are a running joke, they are so soft that if you sit on the edge you are folded up into the mattress. We knew that from a prior stay but just accepted it as part of the history, lol. The pillows and bed linens were very good and the bathroom towels were also very good quality.

Breakfast was great. So was dinner.

We really wanted to stay in the old inn. When we made reservations we didn’t realize we were assigned to the inn, not the old tavern.

Location is great, and like everyone else comments, so is the staff!

Our shower had near-zero hot water. Neither one of us was able to take a hot shower, which honestly we find ridiculous in any decent hotel.
