"Perfect location, fun Olde Inn; enjoy!"

8.0

The historic quirkiness of an old Inn. Sound machines in rooms. A full cooked breakfast included. Walkable downtown location. The bourbon bar.

The Lincoln Suite needs blackout blinds to mute the lights from the circle; it was too bright in this room.

"If you are wise you will not stay here"

right downtown. Very convenient to anything in the city and Bardstown is a good hub to go to many of the distilleries and small towns in the area.

no full time staff... only there to check you in from 4-8 pm. We checked in at 4 dropped off our backs and then went to our event. Came back about 9:30p. First is was late November and cold so the wife had a runny nose (we had to walk 5 blocks from where we could park) only 2 tissues in the tissue box no one around to replenish the tissues unhappy wife unhappy time . Second wanted to catch up on the FB games /scores and get weather updates you better learn how to operate Roku or your SOL. We were SOL. Now I am mad too. Third bed looks firm but it is a foam bed that you sink into and is quite soft uncomfortable unless you like sinking into the bed. Fourth, the furnace/ac unit is mounted over the bed so the heat and air circulation blows directly on you all night Fifth, unit 103 is next to a local radio station that has security lights on outside that have been plucked directly from the sun because they were so bright they easily defeated the light blocking curtains and in the bathroom where there were huge windows 10 ft high maybe it was high noon all night. Sixth, they don't have enough parking for the units not sure how this is compliant but had to park 5 blocks away because of Christmas Tree lighting and Santa for the kids in the square. all cool stuff but for $250 a night I shouldn't have to park 5 blocks away Seventh skip the comp breakfast eggs cold ham cold wife got sausage patties that may have been cooked 4 days ago and reheated every day just hard mini hockey pucks just gross. Eighth asked staff for some kind of relief on the room for all of the above stated issues -- sparkly told "nothing we can do" I hate reliving this horrible experience by writing this review. I am doing all I can to put this horrible stay out of my memory because the events we went to were awesome. We come down here several times a year but will NEVER be booking this place again.

"Wish we could have stayed longer!"

Historic property with tons of charm. Very comfortable and great location for exploring the area. The staff were very welcoming and the restaurant was amazing!

No criticisms. We really enjoyed our stay.
