Your accommodation is great, there are restaurants nearby, so I don't need to travel far.

Thank you for allowing us to check in early; the car booking service to Sapa is a huge plus.

This accommodation suits us.

Superbe, bien placé aux portes de la ville et des principales activités. Acceuil soigne souriant et execivement serviable, disponible et réactif. Déco générale pas kitch ni impersonnelle, propreté rien a redire. Chambre très spacieuse confortable on s' y sent réellement bien pas uniquement comme dans une chambre d hotel. Vélo si ll' on veut, scooter moins cher et en meilleur état qu'en passant par les loueurs. Bref top one.

The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, the room was big and clean with a very comfortable bed and the location was perfect.

Points positifs: 1) la dame qui gère la structure est très gentil et sympa 2) le petit déjeuner préparé le matin est copieux et délicieux 3) service de laverie efficace proposé par le homestay 4) possibilité de louer un scooter ou d'emprunter les vélos mis à disposition

Points négatifs: 1) la chambre est très humide. On ne peut pas comprendre à quel point jusqu'à quand on y met les pieds. Ça dégage même une odeur. 2) la propreté de la chambre devrait être améliorée: sous le lit ce n'était pas propre, poussière à plusieurs endroits normalement faciles à nettoyer, drap sales à l'arrivée (ils ont été gentilent changés). Globalement, je ne me sentais pas dans un endroit propre, donc je n'étais pas très à l'aise.

We had a wonderful stay at Cocoon Homestay. Tam and the whole staff are truly incredible. The hotel is beautiful, spotless, and the service is excellent. The breakfasts are generous and complete, a perfect start to the day. Tam helped us with everything we needed, arranging tours, buses, and sharing really useful local insights. She’s always available and will always find a way to make you smile! There are complimentary bicycles at the hotel, and if you prefer a motorbike, you can also rent one directly with Tam. Don’t forget to visit her brother’s silk shop as well, it’s absolutely beautiful!

The only small detail is that showers had to be a bit quick, as the hot water (very hot) doesn’t last very long.

There were free bicycles available, but we didn’t have time to use them.

The online photos do not match reality. The hotel is outdated, and the room smelled of mold. This was disappointing mainly because the pictures showed something completely different. The pool was dirty and unusable. The water was dirty and cloudy, the area was neglected, and it did not feel hygienic at all. The hotel is very noisy, you can hear everything, and we were woken up early by loud guests and staff. No one at the hotel or in the town speaks English, so communication was only possible via Google Translate. There is no place to exchange money, and we were forced to change it with the owner at a very bad rate. Real photos are attached. We would not stay here again.
