Mill House Bed & Breakfast

What an incredible place to stay. The location was stunning, the room was immaculate and well presented, the breakfast was freshly made to order every day and cooked to perfection. The owners were very friendly and helpful. Would 100% stay here again and recommend this B&B to everyone.

Nothing not to like.

This was our second visit to the Mill House in Kirk Yetholm. The first time was when we finished the Pennine Way, and there was no question when arranging St Cuthbert's Way we would stay there again. Perfect location, with wonderful hosts and lovely breakfast. Thank you.

Mill House is absolutely wonderful! Fantastic hosts, lovely rooms, amazing breakfast. Makes for an overall brilliant stay for the myriad of people traversing the area. A thoroughly recommended place to stay.

Check-in is at 4 pm. Our room, River View, was lovely. The beds were comfortable and the room was decorated to a very high standard. The shower was easy to work and gave lots of hot water. Important after a day's walking. We had a great night's sleep. The breakfast was excellent. Perfectly cooked and used top quality locally sourced produce. We asked our host to fill our flask with coffee. What we got was a barista quality drink which we really enjoyed drinking on the Moor in the rain. Give yourself a treat and stay there.

We had the opportunity to spend 2 nights at the Mill House when walking St. Cuthbert’s Way. It’s an excellent B&B! The proprietors have made it so comfortable and welcoming. The food is excellent, our suite was clean and spacious. We got to spend some time with the owners, who are great people. There’s a nice patio and a couple of friendly dogs to play with. You will feel at home here!

My wife and I stayed here two nights in late May, while walking St Cuthbert's Way. Upon our arrival, Claire, the Inn-Keeper, made us feel right at at home, even calling the Border's restaurant to make a reservation for dinner, as we had arrived late. Our suite was clean, spacious and very comfortable, with lovely views of the surrounding hills. The breakfast both days was excellent. We left for our long trek across the Cheviots to Wooler with delicious home-made sandwiches in hand for our lunch! .
