"Most friendly and exceptional B&B we've ever stayed at."

First of all the owners Janet and Carl are very wonderful people. They spare nothing to make your visit comfortable and very friendly. Also the ambience of the home/house...lots of history and pictures. Rooms are most comfortable and every detail... shampoo, grab bars, toilet lids that close slow (yes it is important) is taken care of. Their breakfasts however are unmatched, simply outstanding.

"Just plain great in every way."

The home was beautifully restored to it's 1902 glory and beautifully furnished. Breakfast was fantastic every morning. The hosts were so friendly and accommodating. They made great recommendations for things to do, places to see, explore and eat. We were very comfortable and had a great time. Highly recommend this gem of a B&B.

"Scofield House Rocks!"

The house was beautiful. The accommodations were very good. The food was fabulous. But most of all, and more importantly, the hosts were gracious, hospitable, and very friendly.

That we had to leave. We will definitely return often. Had a wonderful stay. Surpassed our expectations.

Beautiful home, wonderful host, best hot breakfast to start your day. They think of all the little details to make you stay comfortable and enjoyable. They have great suggestions for things to do in the area.

"Very compfortable and relaxing."

Karl and Janet were great hosts. We also enjoyed the other guest. The location was very good for a base while exploring Door County.

Our only disappointment was we only could stay 2 days.

"A last minute stopover with long lasting memory"

There isn’t a single detail overlooked! From the ornate original custom woodwork, fabulous stories of furniture returning to the home, provided treats, quality linens, amazing breakfast, and overall hospitality…this is definitely a place to return to.

I would not recommend a single thing to do differently

It was beautiful, affordable, and the owners are the kindest people. Breakfast was amazing! We fully enjoyed our stay! There was a lot to do in the surrounding areas. I'm so glad we stayed at the Scofield House!
