The Scofield House

The hosts, Janet and Karl, are very friendly and welcoming. They make you feel right at home. We had the pleasure of enjoying both savory and sweet breakfasts. Both were delicious. The hosts are very knowledgeable about the area, so they gave many recommendations about where to go based upon our interests. The property is beautiful. We also enjoyed conversations with the other guests staying at the property.

The only thing we didn't like was that we had to leave.

This is an absolute gem! The owners are sooo kind and go out of their way for their guests. I am vegan and each morning, they made me an incredible vegan breakfast. This B&B is so charming and in a great location. Our room was well-appointed and clean. Softest sheets ever! I hope to come back one day.

A beautiful historic home and one of the best B and B’s we’ve ever stayed in. The owners, Janet and Carl, have simply thought of everything their guests could want. They’ve also ensured that everything works as it should, and that the place is spotlessly clean. They are also very nice people, warm and engaging. The breakfast was terrific. (And no, we don’t know them.)
