"Mind your head."

Nice, bright decor, excellent breakfast, and friendly staff. Small adequate bathroom with good shower. Excellent location for visiting Bamburg Castle, Seahouses, and Holy Island, which was the reason for the stay

The room was clean and nicely decorated, but the room was quite small and an awkward shape.. it was a dormer room, so the ceiling was very low in places. If I didn't duck,I hit my head, and I am small, 5 foot 2 inches tall. The bed was comfortable, but a small double. Parking was on the street, and I would have preferred private car parking.

"Very pleasant stay at Holly Trees"

Breakfast was very good. Fridge in room was useful. Location near to good restaurant and pubs. Friendly staff. Extra bed if needed.

Limited parking. A table in the room would have been useful, to sit at and play games.

"Two friends escape up North!"

Good quiet location, close to centre and harbour. Rooms well equipped and great helpful hosts.. Enjoyed breakfast - option of porridge and pancakes would be nice. Street parking but not a problem. Would recommend.

"First dive trip to seahouses."

We stayed in the shepherds hut with it's own private patio deck area. Very private plenty of space, Sheltered. Ideal for drying wet dive gear outside. Inside is spacious warm and cosy. Centrally heated. Fully equipped.

Everything was good. Has a single criticism a recycling bin is needed.
