The Beds were a bit uncomfortable and lucky it was not extremely hot weather, fans were helpful but it definitely needs something cooler for warmer days.

The staff was super welcoming on arrival and were always available if you needed anything. The room was decorated nicely and the included breakfast was also really good. We loved our stay here! PS: try their smoothiebowl and baguette :)

Only the breakfast. I sincerely recommend everybody to get there for breakfast only, spare yourself an unpleasant night of sleep.

This was by far the worst experience we had in Bali area and surroundings. We were most surprised, especially given the high score reviews and the high price they charge compared to other accommodations in the area. To start with, while it’s admirable that the owners try to combat global warming at the expense of their customers wellbeing, they might try to include some mosquito nets for the windows to make it possible to turn on the lights during evening without attracting a whole mosquito population. Secondly, while I see the reason behind cutting the AC, I certainly do not understand the reason behind not providing hot water, other than cost cutting and greediness of the owners. Moreover, the bathroom design does not include a bathroom door, why would one need any? Maybe to separate the canal smells from the sunk toilette we had in our room. Everything sucked room wise, would have been better sleeping on the beach, cooler, better smelling and same amount of mosquitos. FYI, there are solar panels that might help with providing better customer service.

Staff are beautiful and location is great. Food is delicious. The crew who worked here are absolutely wonderful. They made our stay very special, especially for our 2 daughters who were very sad to have to say goodbye to all the wonderful people we met at Café Des Arts. Until next time!

I loved the yummy breads for breakfast, soft bed sheets, homey feel.

Not something I didnt like per say - but something to note - its a family hotel :) activities with small children going on in the common areas.
