The Little Barn - Self Catering Holiday Accommodation

Good communication with host. The little barn contained everything we needed for our stay. We were 2 adults and 2 teenagers plus a dog, and it was ok for a 2 night stay. Maybe a bit small for a longer stay. The main bed was comfortable (soft). The shower was really good.

We had some issues with the cleanliness and the WiFi but the host was very responsive and fixed them straight away.

We were going to a 21st birthday party in Grayshott and we stayed at the Little Barn so that we would not have to drive home in the dark. It was very convenient, served the purpose well, had a comfortable bed and an excellent shower.

The stairs are very steep ( that was mentioned in the brochure ) and the head room in the bedroom was very tight.

Not knowing the property was in the middle of major building works. Builders on site early morning outside our door using power tools. Host should have mentioned this on website before people book so we can make an informed choice. It didn't make for a relaxing holiday and i think its unacceptable for families when paying for accommodation.

The barn is beautifully and thoughtfully apportioned, definitely fuel for my Tiny House dreams! It felt like a real home from home. The hosts were available and responsive when needed but otherwise unobtrusive. Lots of walking spaces nearby and near the market town of Petersfield which is well worth a visit. All amenities were provided for self catering.

The property could do with a good deep clean, generally ok. Needed a few finishing touches. We had been left an empty washing up liquid bottle and there were also no tea towels. Wrappers on the bedroom floor which made me feel it hadn’t been hoovered. Owners friendly enough though and great communication prior to our visit.
