The Little Barn - Self Catering Holiday Accommodation

Not as clean as expected. The bedding had a mark. The fridge had milk stains and the induction hob was dirty. Sofa bed uncomfortable so better suited for two people.

Cosy well equipped and warm, a great space for a couple.

Located in a quiet cul de sac with good access to the local area. Clean and private, with good facilities and comfortable beds

Inside the cabin/barn is done up really nicely. Beds were comfortable, furnishings and finishings very nice. Dogs are lovely.

Wifi - was really weak or non-existent. Asked a few times and owners were helpful each time, but it never really worked for any device. It got a bit embarrassing asking so we gave up and used 4G data, which cost us a bit as we were travelling. Outside space: there isnnt any. I suppose many people stay one night or two. But staying a week with kids, there is no space outside the barn to relax, play with the kids. Building works - there was major works being done to the house. the said it was last minute but it was clearly a major planned job. Loud builders from 8 am, and no warning of this prior to arrival. Builders a bit off-ish (no reason for them to be friendly to us) however, we were made to feel an inconvenience when we asked them to move their vans for us to drive out. We ended up parking outside and walking in. Not far, but a pain when you have a boot load of stuff and sleepy kids.

Fabulous location. Fantastic forest walks from the door - woofer loved it!

Decorated to a nice comfortable standard with everything we needed for a nights stay

I stepped in dog poo when I got out of my car, there was also another dog poo by the door of the barn

Good locations for me as close to where I’m working ,I could not sleep upstairs as the stairs were too steep

A small chair for the dining room table to eat at
