Atlantic House B&B

Very peaceful and relaxing, Kathleen and John could not have been more helpful. Genuine and friendly, nothing was too much trouble and are wonderful ambassadors for their beautiful country. It is a great place to use as a base for exploring all the wonderful places around county Cork and beyond.

It is such a pleasure to spend a few nights here. Kathleen is a wonderful host, the surroundings are so scenic with sea across the road and lots of light and views of nature from the windows. The breakfast is the best I have ever had in a BnB. You can easily walk into the village to eat and have a drink. We return here whenever we travel to West Cork, which we love, the location is great for touring. We were able to charge our EV without any delay in nearby Skibbereen.

We had a lovely stay at the B&B. Kathleen offered great hospitality and was very kind. She gave us some advice on sights to see in the area. Breakfast was served à la carte and freshly prepared every morning - we enjoyed every bit of it! Our room had ocean view, it was very clean, had everything in it that we needed. There is also a fridge which can be used together with other guests. We personally loved the location as it was very quiet but still everything was easy to reach by car (next city to buy groceries etc. is Skibbereen).

Everything was perfect. The owner was exceptionally pleasant and gave us lots of information as what to visit. We stayed there for 9 days Sad to leave such a pleasant place and nice people. We loved Katherine.

B&B was 3k away from local pub and restaurant. Very dark road back with no foot path. No taxis. Katleen kindly collected us from pub one evening
