The hotel, although obviously very old, had been tastefully restored. It was exceptionally clean with good facilities. It was warm and comfortable with an amazing restaurant with food to match. It was convenient for everything in the City Shrewsbury which is a beautiful.

Nothing to dislike.

Fantastic spacious room, great shower, and loved the property in general. Great breakfast and on site parking was a bonus. Room was a little dark but was in keeping with the authenticity of the age of the property. I googled the history of the building which was fascinating to read, so maybe an idea for the owners might be a printed fact sheet about the history of the building
