"Not bananas to go to Rhubarb."

Beautiful building, inside and out, friendly and helpful staff, comfortable room and a great central location for the town. 24 hour discounted parking is an excellent bonus as parking in the town is extortionate. Breakfast was hearty and cooked to perfection.

Parking is a bit tight, bring a small car and not a monster Audi or Range Rover. Everything else was excellent.

We had a wonderful time - all the staff looked after us very well and were friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable and clean - and decorated to a very high standard. The quality of the food was exceptional - can't wait to go back!

"Wonderful hotel in an historic building."

The hotel is in an historic building and is therefore full of character, and quite quirky, in a good way. The location is perfect, very near to everything. The breakfast was excellent, as were the staff.
