The Papas Villas

This is my second stay at Papa's Villas and it continued to amaze me in many ways. I loved the people (Hi Wayan, Misa, Kadek & Bawa), the cuisine, and the magnificent view that greeted us everyday. This is the place I'll keep going back to when I visit Bali X

The pool was stunning and very private. Walking distance to Tegalalang rice terrace. Clean, comfortable and spacious rooms. Staff were very happy to help.

If you want to be close to Ubud centre then this is a bit further out.

Lovely, spacious villa with own pool and great views over the rice fields. Hosts were extremely helpful and accommodating in every way. This was exactly what we needed for our 2 week stay in Bali.

This place is peaceful in the nature kind of way - not a soul to be heard except the froggies, lizards and bugs (of which there are many if you sit on your porch). If you bring bug spray, you can sit out there and just enjoy it all. The morning sunrise comes over the infinity pool and I could have stayed there all day. Just a short scooter ride away (4 min) is great shopping (be sure to negotiate) and the rice paddy swings. The host was nice enough to organize a driver for me. Bfast and dinner were both simple but delicious. Rooms are huge.

The staff were so very friendly. The accommodations and views were incredible.

I loved everything about the Paps Villas.

The people were extremely friendly. Upon arrival they invited me in their home for lunch. The comfort of the bungalows was extraordinary, not what you would expect from a location so close to the jungle and rice fields. It reminded me more like an Italian style furnished appt. The bathroom was top of the line. I would come back here any time. Great value. The host will take you by motorcycle to the village if you don't wanne eat at the premises (still quite well possible, good quality and soooo cheap) or you can take a Grab (uber) and costs you 2-3 euro.

We just loved every aspect of our stay. Apart from the stunning setting (infinity pool overlooking the jaw dropping rice field), we adored the owner Wayan and his family -which became ours. They many times went off their way to accommodate every need, a genuinely five star hospitality from the heart. Highly recommended!
