The Papas Villas

The family running the place is incredibly nice and bend their back over backwards to accommodate your requests. The hostess cooks amazingly and only traditional food and the host is present early to touch up the place with some flowery decorations. Other family members help by providing transport and visits, all for a very reasonable fee, the former being cheaper than other taxi services (Gojek, etc.).

The hosts were lovely, and friendly which made us feel right at home. The villa was beautiful, clean, and comfortable with a stunning view. Perfect getaway and definitely would stay at the papa's villa again.

These are 2 villas located very close to the famous rice terraces. Great view! We thought we would be a little cut off from civilization. But no! Nearby are cafes, restaurants, attractions. Privately managed. The staff is wonderful! They are ready to provide services and you can order a delicious dish from the menu. Cozy, clean, homely. We didn't want to leave! Thank you! Everything was wonderful!

A little noisy conditioner

Absolutely loved the stay at Papas. There is a rice field just on the other side of the street. Better this than the touristy one with the swing and that felt like an amusement park (we went to both but the one right next to the hotel is a true rice field, loved it). Crickets and sound of nature at night was comforting. Very accommodating on serving breakfast at the pool.

Nothing, really worth it to spend some nights here, even though it isnt very centric (or so we thought and that is why we divided our ubud stay between 2 hotels), there are transport options nearby.

The family hosting was so kind and helpful with everything we needed, from transport to sightseeing 🥰 we stayed in the room with pool view and it is gorgeous with a giant bed and big modern indoor shower! (Also: No animals indoors ☺️) Realy good value for money. You can also order some food and drinks, even get them delivered to your room. Katut took us for a walk trough the fields and village and it was lovely. Wayat welcomed us, Kade cooked for us and gave us tips and uncle took us around everywhere we needed to go. ☀️The prices were very aforfable. If you want a resort feel room with a bit of local experience, this is it! All in all it was a great stay and a great experience! 🌸

Its a bit far from Ubud, but we knew that and wanted to stay near the rice terraces and see the village.
