The Papas Villas

The scene was extremely beautiful, hosts r nice and it’s the most unforgettable place in Bali!

Staff is amazing. Rooms amazing. Everything new. They have 3 villas run by a family. 500m from rice field tours. Bathroom is closed (no bugs). They can provide guide for trekking (150k rp) and car for harbour. Many thanks to Kadek. They have also a walter filter inside room. Very cool. Ac is good. All.good.

If you're looking for your own little piece of paradise, look no further. Papas Villas is everything you could ever dream of and more... we stayed for 2 weeks, in the little house with its own pool, surrounded by the sheer beauty of peace. A gorgeous little house (I believe it's called an apartment when you book), beautifully furnished and maintained with outside space that appeared to go on forever - I felt myself completely unwind. The staff, who are also the owners, do everything for you - from bringing delicious meals right to you to organising and providing days out and sightseeing trips, even if that is only a short car ride to a good restaurant for lunch or dinner - all in your own time, with no pressure to do anything. We utterly loved the time we were at Papas Villas and know, absolutely we would never stay anywhere else on Bali. Thank you everyone, it was really, really hard to leave.

We liked everything, the beautiful villa, the pool, the delicious food but especially the family who owns the villas. Exeptional service by an amazing family. We recommend when you stay here to go for a guided rice field tour with Ketut and to try the delicious homemade food!

Loved the pool

I recommend this place for everyone who wants to be really close to the nature. Great location to visit the rice terraces from the less touristy side of the field, nice view from the room. Staff is really nice and tries to look after you.

The last morning our room got flooded with flying ants, most of them in our bed, it might be out of their control but still inconvenience for us. The staff is in general really nice but we found them a little too pushy always wanting us to share all of our plans. 1 hour rice trekking on the fields with them was more expensive than Besakih temple entrance fee + guided tour. Smaller mistake but we rarely got what we asked for breakfast, something was always different.
