Mountain Home Bed & Breakfast

Lisa and Scott were welcoming when we arrived and showed us around the house. A delicious breakfast with 3 hot options and 3 times for breakfast was providedin the morning. Due to the house being older I was concerned that I would hear others in the house, but I didn't hear anyone and had excellent sleep.

No complaints.

Incredibly friendly and helpful hosts. They really made the stay special. Breakfast was superb with home made juices and jams. Rooms were spacious and clean.

Everything was great. If I had to niggle, then we would have liked a king size bed, but knew it was a queen when we booked it.

Das ist ein Unicum! Mondaná II. József ha eljutott volna ide. Ez nem egy szállás, hanem ez Lisa és Scott otthona, amiben úgy fogadnak minket mintha, mi is a családjuk része lennénk. Történelmi épület a polgárháború előtti időkből, korhűen berendezve. Minden szobának külön története van. Hihetetlen hangulatos. Reggel, házigazdáink készítik, helyi alapanyagokból, az isteni, egyénre szabott reggelit minden vendégnek. Ha az AT-t csinálod mindenképpen ugorj be (thru-hiker-eket mindig fogadnak).

Oh my goodness! We were greeted by the hosts as soon as we walked in the door. Then we got a tour and help with our luggage. They gave us great recommendations for dinner and we're available any time we had a question. But they were never intrusive. The ambiance was superb and the scenery was luscious. The room we stayed in was decorated with antiques but they felt clean and new - very well taken care of. The bathroom was very large and super clean. And the breakfast!!!! We were given a choice of 4 different entrees with most things homemade including the juices and jams. Fabulous! We'd go back in a heartbeat!

Hmmm. The weather? We got poured on. But the next day was gorgeous. Seriously, the bed was too firm for my liking, but that's a matter of personal choice. And maybe add a sign pointing to the ramp entrance so people don't have to walk up the front entrance stairs the first time. Those are such minor things. Otherwise it was perfect.

Lisa et Scott nous ont accueillis et hébergés très chaleureusement. Le lieu dans la verdure est un havre de paix.

Wat een mooie lokatie! Letterlijk óp de Appalachian trail, dus veel hikers slapen hier. Oud, maar klassiek - sanitair is (Amerikaans) modern. Super aardige eigenaren die tijdens het (uitstekende) ontbijt gezellig met je bijpraten.

It was very nice, the hosts stayed up late to greet us as we drove a long way. We had our private bath, the breakfast was lovely. All was good.

The price was a little high, all we did was sleep there, eat breakfast and move on to our next destination
