We stayed one day. The breakfast was fantastic. The owners were great. We were visiting friends. The location was perfect.

Interesting old period house. Very good and personal service from the hosts, even giving a lift into town. Freshly cooked breakfast with homemade jams. While we weren’t hiking it’s on the Appalachian trial.

Nothing really but a bell at arrival would be useful as we weren’t sure what to do at the door

location great to explore Shenandoah Park. Loved meeting new people especially the hikers doing all or part of the Appalachian Trail. I did not know there were so many dedicated and determined people to complete the entire length. And a shout out to our accommodating and knowledgeable hosts Lisa and Scott.

Owner was friendly, helpful and knowledgeable! Small facility allowed intimate conversations amongst everyone during breakfast.

No drapes in the room. Any noise travels unmitigated through the facility.

The owner was very friendly and accommodating, and provided us with many recommendations on restaurants and things to do. Breakfast was good with several choices including scrambled eggs, pancakes, yogurt and hot cereal.

The main bed in our room was small for two people. The single bed in our room was a bit uncomfortable.

Lisa and Scott were very gracious hosts, the breakfast was great. Their set up for AT hikers is nice.

Bed was not comfortable, acoustics not great.
