Wonderful stay and fantastic- brilliant breakfast

The fact we were the only guests, made us feel as though we were invited. The log fire in the morning welcoming you to breakfast. The fresh scrambled eggs on toast were so tasty. The breakfast was huge and a lot of choice. The best and freshest of ingredients. The personal touches to ensure a warm comfortable stay. The most amenable hostess who went out of her way to ensure we were comfortable.

There are no wardrobes, the only hanging space is behind the bedroom door or over the balustrade out in the corridor. The bathroom is not en-suite, it is a private bathroom for your own use, however if you need to get up in the middle of the night you do disturb your partner with the creaky doorknob and squeaky hinges on both the bedroom and bathroom doors. The stairs can be a bit steep in places, so you need to be careful when descending.

The hosts made us very welcome. Our room and the facilities were excellent. Our breakfast was delicious too.

Deb was an amazing host, breakfast was outstanding

The hostess Deb, was very welcoming both before and during our stay. The breakfast was excellent, a lovely variety of cereals, fruit, croissants and cooked goodies. A very pleasant and unique experience. Also nice to have use of our won lounge.

Decor is a little tired in bedroom and bathroom.
