"For my purposes of visiting my wife at Clouds House, this was the perfect solution."

9.0

Deb, the owner of the B&B, was EXCEPTIONALLY accommodating and a true gem! I didn't expect it to be an actual farm, but the farmhouse where I stayed was cozy and welcoming. The evenings were cool, so Deb ensured the room was a good temperature, and the duvet was magnificently warm and cosy. If you want one of the best breakfast bacon sandwiches in Wiltshire, Deb is the chef for you. She went out of her way to drive me to places and make sure I felt welcome and looked after. A wonderful experience.

The only complaint I have is that the internet did not work in the house for some reason. It would switch on sporadically, and unfortunately there was no cellular service in that area. However, I turned the no device situation into a positive and wrote in my journal and read some of the many magazines and books they had in the living room.

"A lovely 3 night stay in a great English Farmhouse"

Warm welcome. Debs could not have been more kind or helpful. Her breakfasts were superb and she even lit a log fire to eat by. She had plenty of ideas about local attractions and places to eat. We would definitely go back

"A welcoming and friendly host who provided excellent accommodation - I would recommend Manor Farm."

9.0

The breakfast was excellent with a choice of yoghurts, lovely fresh fruits, granola, museli all laid out beautifully on the table with fresh flowers. Of course a cooked breakfast too with fresh mushrooms and tomatoes! The bathroom (a few steps outside the bedroom along the landing) was very nicely appointed with shampoo, conditioner, shower gel. Dressing gowns were provided so I could walk to the bathroom without having to get dressed.

"Comfy, welcoming and chilled plus fab breakfasts"

10.0

It is a delightful cottage with a spacious room decorated elegantly. Peaceful and close to local pubs. Lovely walks and a good base to explore other villages and towns in the vicinity. The owners warmly welcomed me and gave a stupendous breakfast before I set off for the day.

The only thing I can mention is that there is limited phone signal in the area as it’s in a bit of a dip but all resolved by just going up the hill either side.

"Idyllic b&b in stunning surroundings"

10.0

We arrived slightly earlier than expected and were warmly welcomed and shown around by Jim. Deb got home @ 15 mins later and explained in more detail about breakfast, how to get to the pub we'd booked dinner at and even offered to collect us if the heavens opened with rain. We just missed it and the walk to and from was lovely and peaceful. Thoroughly recommend the Fox and Hounds crab risotto and fishcakes! The view over the fields was beautiful so we even kept the curtains open at night. I had a brilliant night's sleep - my partner not so much but only due to things on his mind and no reflection on Milton Farm. I don't know if "outstanding" has been used to describe the breakfast before? That's what it was anyway - I even missed some of the items on offer as the vase of sunflowers obscured them. Not to worry though, as the full English, fruits, Greek yoghurts and toast filled our tummies ready for our trip to Stonehenge. Deb continued to be a fantastic hostess. She obviously likes people, enjoys running the b&b and is knowledgeable about the area. Our one night stay at Milton Farm was exactly what we needed having had an emotional day at a family funeral. Even Bear the dog helped to cheer us up. We can't praise it enough :-)

That we couldn't stay longer - but will be back!!
