Booked this B&B last minute and glad we did! Lovely scenic location, very peaceful. The hosts were very friendly and attentive. We appreciated the pot of tea and cakes on arrival. Breakfast was fab too, lots of options to choose from.

L’accueil de Johnny et Sue a été très sympathique et chaleureux : le tea time d’arrivée a fait du bien au cœur et au corps. Le petit déjeuner était très copieux (surtout le Scottish one) et de qualité (très bonnes confitures). Ce fût l’occasion de découvrir le porridge préparé par Johnny et de profiter plus en détails de cette maison très agréable et isolée. Merci 🙏🏻

"Warm and friendly hosts, quiet and secluded location with a beautiful view."

John and Sue were lovely and very welcoming, they went out of their way to offer help when needed. The breakfast is fast becoming a topic of conversation about our trip away, amazing range of options and expertly cooked. We even managed to snap a couple of pics of some local deer who visited the garden.

The B&B was the perfect place to base ourselves for a couple of days around Loch Fyne. The rooms were comfortable and clean with all of the facilities we required. The stay included a top notch breakfast that was fit for a king!

The location of Powdermills is fantastic, nestled next to the small village of Furnace and not far from Inverary, it’s ideally located to explore the surrounding area. The Campbell room was huge, with great views out towards the Loch. The shower/bathroom was equally big with a lovely warm shower. The bed was comfortable and since it was Winter it had an electric blanket for extra cosiness. The room had plenty of hanging space and drawers for tidying things away. The highlight for me was Breakfast, cooked to perfection, plenty of choice and nice hot coffee.
