The extra space with a small lounge and kitchen. Beautiful full breakfast, brought to your room. Very friendly hosts.great extra touches- fresh milk in fridge, excellent choice of beverages to drink. Lovely balcony from living room to sit outside.

NOTHING. Only downside was our stay was only one night! We were visiting for a family funeral.

The breakfast was excellent and the location very beautiful and quite over looking the church and hills in the background

We stayed at Carents House in Montacute for one night. Welcoming hosts, comfortable rooms and great breakfast. What more can I say?

Excellent hosts, a brilliant night’s sleep and superb breakfast in a great location. Also really liked the kitchenette with fridge and comfortable self-contained sitting room (with balcony) for relaxing in.

Great location next to 2 good old school pub's, the beautiful location, fantastic host, spotless and a stunning set of breakfast options, extras in the kitchen area, postcards, and the breakfast was absolutely delicious

located in a quiet main street, the guest room is in fact a small flat with a first floor balcony overlooking the churchyard. Diana is a very good host, receiving us warmly, ensuring we were comfortable and then serving a substantial breakfast of our choice.

Excellent breakfast choices and quality. Many interesting nearby towns and countryside places to visit.

Nothing, hence excellent review. However, anyone with accessibility difficulties may find the stairs a challenge, the accommodation is on the first floor.
