Bub Lane Cottage

Good location between Mudeford and Christchurch. Perfect for our two day break as didn’t need to use the car. Quiet street. Extremely clean. Optional breakfast.

Didn’t realise this was a room within the owners’ own property (we were expecting a private entrance). Would be good to make this explicit in the description of the property. I notice other reviews have mentioned this and this set-up may not be for all. Breakfast was plentiful but would have preferred some different options eg some unsweetened cereals. Perhaps some pre-chosen options would be helpful.

Great location to walk into Mudeford. We did a wonderful boat trip and a coastal walk. People made us very welcome. It was exceptionally clean and had a fabulous breakfast. Even got a birthday card from them.

While I may never be back in this part of the UK again, if it ever occurs again, I would certainly stay at this location in Christchurch.

Clean,modern comfortable.Self contained, excellent shower etc.The position is fine, just over a mile flat walk to Mudeford Quay. There was no local bus running when we stayed in April but according to the notice it will recommence in the “summer”

Nothing. Be aware that you have to go through owners lounge to get to lovely garden but it wasn’t a problem just another welcome excuse for a chat with the host.

Quiet, clean & modern room with ensuite. Tea & coffee making facility + fresh milk supplied. Helpful host. Near a lovely nature reserve, 15 minutes' walk to Mudeford Quay, 20+ minutes' pleasant walk into town. A lovely, relaxing place to stay!

Michael was a very welcoming and hospitable host, always checking how he could be of help. He has good knowledge of the local area and restaurants, which was quite handy for us. The room was nice, clean, and cosy. We had all we needed throughout our stay. Would definitely recommend Bub Lane Cottage, and stay there again!

Nothing, everything was perfect!

Lovely little find away from the main road. Excellent hosts who were very welcoming. Mike gave us a quick tour of where everything was. We went out that evening and when we came back, our room was all ready for bed with the added touch of little chocolates on the bed. Super place, would highly recommend

The location, close to Christchurch harbour.

Michael the host couldn't have been more helpful. The service was 5 star. The only b&b where I have experienced a turn-down service. He was a mine of local knowledge about amenities and places to eat.

I realise that it's hard to please everyone. I found the bed was too soft. Picky, I know!
