Kasun Hotel

Room and bathroom really clean and smelling so good !!! Breakfast and diner was really delicious compliment to the chef ! The hostel is right down the Waterfall only 35min walk and you can easily enjoy the waterfall all day :) Beautiful family who run the place, everyone is really nice and helpful, they even dropped me in town (Koslanda) to withdraw money then at the bus stop with the tuk tuk and he came back to give me a bottle of water a few minute later, so nice !!! I highly recommend the place ! Thanks again for the beautiful stay :)

I recently stayed at Kasun Hotel through Booking.com and had an exceptional experience. The cleanliness of the place was outstanding, making my stay comfortable and enjoyable. The owner of the property was incredibly friendly and helpful throughout my visit. They provided valuable guidance for exploring the Upper Diyaluma trail, ensuring I didn't miss any of the breathtaking viewpoints along the way. Starting the trail early in the morning, around 6 am, allowed me to fully experience the beauty of Upper Diyaluma Falls and the surrounding lake area without the crowds of tourists. Despite being in an area with campers, the owner's advice on staying alert for wild animals put me at ease. Fortunately, I didn't encounter any during my visit, but their cautionary advice was appreciated. Overall, I highly recommend the place for anyone looking for a clean, friendly, and well-guided stay near the Upper Diyaluma trail. It's a perfect retreat for nature lovers and adventure seekers alike.

Everything was great about this guesthouse. Clean room, nice design inside and outside, very tasty breakfast and dinner and friendly staffs. Very convenient to go to upper diyaluma fall. For all the convenience and comfort, price.is reasonable too.

It's not about the hotel. Google maps says from wellawaya there is only one bus per day to diyaluma area. This is not true. There is plenty of bus running every hour or so. So you can arrive here anytime of the day to maximise the time at the waterfall.

Amazing stay and host

Kasun and his wife are lovely people and we’re very helpful. They were flexible and understanding when I by accident booked for 1 person instead of 2. The room was very clean and we felt comfortable. They gave us tips for our hike to the waterfall (which in hindsight we would have much preferred to do with a guude). Thank you both for the nice stay!

Very clean and cozy room, we felt comfortable from the beginning onwards. The owners were very nice and the food was delicious.
