Unfortunately the driveway is very steep. This is conveyed to you after you’ve booked and on the day of your arrival. Further, the manager shouts to you through the fence of the property upon arrival to say how you need to manoeuvre the driveway. It is too steep for her to walk down presumably. Once you’ve navigated the driveway and precarious parking set up, you’re invited up several flights of outside stairs with your luggage in tow (the sheer volume of stairs is also not mentioned prior to booking). Having a look at their reviews now, I see their response to this is given the topography of the land. Understood. But the decent thing would be to mention this is the description of the premises, providing potential visitors the option to make an informed decision. It should not be for the guest to go “read the reviews” as is one of their responses. The welcoming manager on duty was unprofessional. We were escorted through the dining area which was cramped and untidy. I can’t comment further as it was at this point that we elected to leave and source alternate accommodation, which by contrast was wonderful. I see a lot of their responses to “bad” reviews just further displays their unprofessionalism. It is unfortunate, perhaps intended, that not enough information is provided about the property beforehand.

The property is so beautiful and has a beautiful view.The staff is so friendly and kind.

If you are not a good driver, entering the premises will be a bit challenging.

Wonderful atmosphere and good service. The facilities were neat and felt like a luxury stay.

Location is great, the place is quiet and comfortable

They only serve breakfast and it would have been nice to be catered for and experience views with a taste of their food. Now we had to go out for that
