Breakfast was ok. Bit disappointed that toast took a while to arrive with the breakfast. Otherwise all good

The bathroom was very cold. could have done with a heated towel rail or some kind of heating. Also plaster was coming off the ceiling. I know it was an old building but still..... Otherwise room warm enough when we turned on the radiator.

The breakfast was excellent (especially the porridge!) and it set me up well for a day's walking. The staff were very helpful and friendly and the room was very pleasant. It was a relaxing environment in which to start the day.

The hotel was ideally located, clean, quiet, and their restaurant was excellent. Small hotel car park, but a big one next to it that was council and you had to pay.

Bed very firm, but would suit those who like a firm mattress.
