Crestwood Bed & Breakfast

The place as a whole, the view and the staff.

I did not like the road, too rocky not that accommodating for small cars.

Breakfast was of standard fare.

There was more on offer for those who ate meat - as a vegetarian, I only had an option on one morning. The vegetarian option was not available on Sunday morning. I was also disappointed with the power cuts on Sunday morning till we left after breakfast. The generator also cut off at 21h00 on Saturday night.

I loved the friendliness of the staff, consistent communication with the GM, willingness to accommodate us in any way possible, breakfast was delicious and the electric blanket was a giant plus.

It's located in a great area, close to most places when going out and about. Beautiful scenery overall.

The staff did the bare minimum cleaning, we didn't receive any new bathroom hand towel. We found lots of spiders and insects in our place and I literally woke up the one morning from scratching underneath my pillow, when I lifted it up, some furry animal bigger than a rat jumped out and sprinted. We couldn't find where it went, it also did not get out as everything was closed. The animal might have made itself a nice space inside the bed. We could not rest well at all after that. We had neighbors below us that sounded like they were fighting, screaming, shouting at 5am! Even sounded like things was being thrown around.
