Lovely staff, allowed us to use the common room early in the morning (important to us)

Right by the A1, so noisy with door open. With door closed, a bit stuffy inside

Couldn't get early breakfast on Sunday a m.

The room was very stylish and the beds were so comfortable, next to a road but we couldn’t hear a thing at night so we got a peaceful nights sleep with a 3 year old! There was a nice little fish pond fountain outside which my little boy loved! The owner John I think his name was sorry terrible with names was very friendly he couldn’t do enough for us was always around to ask questions. The full English breakfast he put out for us was absolutely lovely and our 3 year old had a selection of different cereals. Will definitely be going back

John the owner is a great guy, so friendly, accommodation was great, lovely, clean, cosy rooms with everything you need for your stay. We was able to check into our room earlier as we were attending a wedding close by, John gave us a lift to the wedding venue - lovely gesture.

Good location on the Sustrans cycling route. Secure storage for our bikes. Really comfortable room and John was an exceptional host. Great stay
