CASA DA GRAÇA

We had a wonderful stay at Cass de Graça! We loved the breakfast in the morning, the service to clean our room, and the location (walking distance to a lot of restaurants!). The staff were so friendly and thoughtful; we would definitely stay here again!

When booking for Sao Miguel, I was looking for a place that made me feel like I was in the Azores and not just in a hotel that could be anywhere- CASA DA GRAÇA was a charming fit for this. Sergio was waiting at the door when we arrived, assisted in helping us get access to their parking garage and checked in to our rooms. I found the rooms very clean and daily cleaning service provided. I also appreciated the extra towels for activities like the hot springs. The breakfast service exceeded my expectation as the staff set up a beautiful spread and table each morning for our selected breakfast time, which we were able to adjust depending on the morning. The staff were very kind and the house was cute and charming!

What kept this place from being a 10 for me is that the rooms are not incredibly spacious and noise carries throughout the whole house. I was sharing a room with a friend and it was a bit cozy, taking turns to get into our suitcases in the corner, but not a huge problem for us. Noise was a bigger issue for me as I am a light sleeper- I could hear when anyone opened/closed their door or the main front door and any talking in the main shared area. We had two louder people in our group traveling and to be considerate of others, it felt like I was consistently trying to get them to be quieter. Thus, not the perfect place for people that tend to be louder, but otherwise I loved it.

The place is perfect. Excellent host. Hospitable staff. Clean everywhere on the property and in a great location. What’s not to like about that?!

Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful. The location is fantastic, near Ponta Delgada city center and the marina and launch points for dive centers. The breakfast was delicious and substantial: breads, fruit, hard boiled egg, cheeses. The room was comfortable and clean. They also have affordable on site parking.

Beautiful accommodations and wonderful central location . Great personable breakfast made by Dina. Sergio had great recommendations and was available for questions and recommendations throughout our stay. We appreciated the peace of mind of the pay by day garage parking at 5 euro per day. Loved room doors with codes rather than keys. .
