everything was not clear!!! they moved me to a different room, telling me different things always coming from different people! the owner was not there to clarify and to manage things, my room was not ready when I came, the facility was dirty and fool of dogs and cat's one of the worst experiences I've ever had in my life!!!!

It was the best experience I have ever had in my years of traveling the Philippines. You could not ask for better accommodations A beautiful place lots of room to hang out for free time.(huge Rooms, great Wi-Fi, awesome food ) The owner and all the staff treated us like relatives they had not seen in a very long time. Every resort and hotel I have ever stayed in over the years could take lessons from this place. They set new standards. Not to mention a 3 minute walk to the semi private beach. And 5 minute ride to white beach with all different types of food and night life. What an awesome place and priced well below value for your money. Do I recommend, I’d say it’s your loss if don’t stay here. I can say more but you really have to experience.

Great value accomodation with the most welcoming host!...and the best breakfast...There are plenty accomodation options in and around White Beach but Macrena makes this place special...

The staffs especially Ms. Macrina and Ms. Charles were really a great host and very approachable. Their breakfast is one of the best. Feels like having a second family with their homey accommodation.

That I have to leave the amazing place and go back to the normal routine.

Ate Macrina is so accommodating, and so is Charles. Although she was busy with her Food Shop, she made sure that we get everything we need. I thought people who's given a review was exaggerating when they said that her food is nice. But they weren't. She really is a good cook. And that's big coming from our family, since my sister is a chef. It's very close to Aninuan Beach which for me is better than the White Beach. It's really quiet and peaceful and there weren't that many people around unlike the White Beach which is very crowded now. But if you want the night life, and buy stuff like souvenirs, you can go to the White Beach. It's only a 3 minute drive. It's not our first time in Puerto Galera. It's our go-to vacation place but Macrina's place is the one I liked the most. Because of the quietness. Definitely going back!

Whaaat a wonderful stay we've had. So wonderful people, Macrina, Charles, Belle (and the guests Gary and Anthony). Leaving after three days and we already take them in our hearts. The breakfast is the best we've had in Philippines (even compared to much more expensive places). Macrina is a cook and an extraordinary one. She adapted for us eating vegetarian and not just anything to check the box, delicious food. We went to the karaoke with them at Macrinas restaurant and had a great night. Lots of laughs. The beach, 3 minutes walk, is great. We went snorkeling and enjoyed it. A stay we just won't forget.

The cleaning wasn't perfect, although we arrived too early, they prepared a room for us in the time they had. And also the light was gone in all the area at that time (difficult to see). Acceptable, just improvable. We needed to stay one more night and having the hostel full they did magic to host us.

Macri and Charles are the best. It felt like home away from home. I'd love that booking had the option "∞/10" because "10/10" is not enough. I'd definitely stay here again if i go back to Puerto Galera.

Really nice people, you'll get a very nice insight about the local attitude here. I could come to the owner with all my needs and she made it easily possible for a fair price (like renting a scooter eg) would come back any time.

The bathroom needs some attention
