Un lugar con las comodidades que busco, tiene conexión a internet; no tiene televisión; era exactamente lo que buscaba.

No es algo inherente al alojamiento; está ubicado en un sector que debería ser apacible, lastimosamente han colocado un bar que mete un ruido y rompe la armonía del sitio

L’accueil et la vie avec nos hôtes, l’emplacement un peu à l’écart du tumulte de la ville, avec un accès direct à la plage, à 5mn à pied du port, la cuisine pour se faire quelques repas, la maison en elle même est géniale, en bois avec une terrasse dans les arbres, hamac, la présence des chiens de la famille tout plein d’amour, l’eau chaude et la propreté du lieu.

La période durant laquelle nous y sommes allée était très festive, donc du bruit, mais qui ne dépend pas du logement. Et parfois l’odeur des chiens au Rez de chaussée

The treehouse vibe, the way you can hear the waves when you wake up, the views from the balcony were lovely and the breakfast was amazinggg

Staying here was like staying in a treehouse. I felt completely immersed in nature and felt very relaxed. The bed was king size and very comfortable. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. I was able to book a tour to see the whales directly through Hostal Monte Líbano and was picked up right out front. I booked my stay several months in advance and coordinated my accommodations with the staff prior to my arrival. I look forward to staying at Hostal Monte Líbano in the future when I return to see the whales.

The room itself was wild; two stories plus a loft (one room on each floor) in the family room with terrace. We used the top two rooms. The beds were comfortable enough. We enjoyed the balcony (view to the backyard with the ocean off to the side) and the shared terrace on the upper level of the hostel. The shared kitchen is a plus and it was nice to have room for a few small items in the fridge. Short walk to the pier and the Malecon. About 15 minutes walking to the town center and fewer than 10 to the bus stop.

There's no A/C unit, but there is a small portable A/C on the second floor that we fought over frequently. There is a fan on the bottom floor. The bathroom is on the bottom floor and is a little dingy. We liked the treehouse feel, but note that if you have issues with stairs or depth perception, it's the wrong room for you. You have to go through the office and living areas of the hostel to enter and exit.

The location is amazing. Right next to the beach and on the main strip but far enough away from the action to feel tranquil and authentic. The owners have grown a garden all around their property to make it feel tropical and natural even in the middle of the city. They arranged our tour for us. The room was an actual treehouse which was amazing.

I thought full breakfast was included but it was just some rolls and cheese. However, everything is open and available just down the street so not really necessary.

The staff were extremely helpful, and the community lounge areas were very nice.

Overall cleanliness and smell were poor, and the location was not a nice part of town.

Family run. Access to kitchen facilities, laundry service and tours available. Very friendly family. On main beach but away from most of the noise
