Sunset Edwardian Bed and Breakfast at Golden Gate Park

The website touted view of the ocean and breakfast. There was no view of the ocean and breakfast consisted of prepackaged dry cereal (no milk) and a bagel. Not the easiest to find parking on the street.

The staffless check in made coming and going super seamless and the location was amazing for sight seeing in Golden Gate Park. Walkable distance to park and super close to sum rlly good restaurants. The room was very clean and quite large for a 4 person room. Breakfast was on time and quality exceeded our expectations. The walk in closet was appreciated.

The room was very cold as the house is in a more traditional style and the bay widows definitely let in a small draft. Extra blankets for the room or a warning to bring your own would've been nice. Also the parking on site is residential street parking so take that into account!

Comfortable, easy access to all locations, great communication with host. Breakfast was simple, on time and tasty. Entry instructions were on point and in a timely manner. I would definitely rebook if in the area.

Parking was a little difficult, no fault of host.

I am staying in this place for the fourth time. Great location. Nice house. There is everything you need for rest.

The location is excellent. Very safe neighborhood, with a light rail stop just down the block. There were streets in San Francisco where we saw plenty of suspicious individuals, we saw someone get robbed right in front of us around downtown... So we were happy we were able to stay in what seemed like the nicest and safest neighborhood in the city here.

We were supposed to receive an email just before check-in with a pin code to enter the room and building. We arrived almost exactly at check-in time, but no email, and no way to reach them. Half an hour later the owner arrived at home by coincidence and let us in, but it wasn't exactly a warm welcome, nor did we receive an apology. The room is quite small, with just two beds. There are a few foldable chairs and a foldable table that are very unstable in order to have breakfast. Works for 2 people like us, but wouldn't recommend for 4 people. The room has a very musty smell, and unfortunately wasn't cleaned properly. There were dead ants in a corner of the room, the bagel machine was dirty,... Breakfast is just a tray with some bagels, cereal and a cookie. A bit of a stretch to call this a B&B. You can park in the street. We were extremely lucky to find a spot. Prepare to circle the surrounding blocks until you find a spot. At least parking is free. Watch out you don't park when the street is going to be cleaned though. There are signs in the street that show you when that's happening.

The location as perfect for our situation. The breakfast was very good, and the host was prompt in responding to our inquiries.
