The cottage is lovely, very cosy and has an elegant vintage touch to it. The room is comfy and clean. The breakfast was great every day. Location is excellent for day trips in the beautiful Yorkshire countryside. Definitely recommend!

A beautiful cottage in an idyllic location. A unique B&B experience. Having your own living room was a real treat along with breakfast next to the arga.

Karen is a most thoughtful host. There were many small considerate little luxuries waiting for me to discover. A beautifully presented accommodation, clean, fresh and gorgeous, carefully selected furnishings. Delicious breakfast with a delightful garden outlook. Super comfortable bedding and gorgeous bathroom experience.

The breakfasts were outstanding and the Host Karen was very helpful in every way, The rooms and location were exceptional.

we liked everything ,even the hot sunny days

We were familiar with Thornton le Dale, so location was as good as expected. Breakfast was a vegetarian take on a continental breakfast of various cereals, fruit, yoghurt, pastries, breads and jams/marmalades. Superb.

By no means a criticism - when we stayed the weather was, particularly, hot. The provision of a summer weight duvet would have been more comfortable.

Continental style breakfast, fruits, bread, rolls, etc. Excellent, freshly prepared

Bed was very firm and pillows not great, usually take my own, my mistake. Suggest a non slip mat in the bath for showering.
