lovely breakfast a great start to the day, we had our own sitting room which was lovely and it was in the middle of Thornton so couldn't have been better.

There was nothing to dislike it was lovely.

The cottage was impeccably clean, and the owner, Karen, was the perfect host. Location was perfect. Felt like a home from home. Excellent breakfasts. Would thoroughly recommend this beautiful cottage in Thornton le Dale.

Karen was an amazing host, so kind and thoughtful. Lovely to have a sitting room as well as a bedroom and bathroom. Everywhere was beautifully furnished and absolutely spotlessly clean. There were lots of welcome little touches like biscuits, port and even a birthday cake as we had visited to celebrate my husband's birthday. We felt very comfortable. The house is beautiful and in a gorgeous village with a cosy pub and plenty of eating places within walking distance. Karen also has a lovely antiques shop which is well worth a browse. The breakfast was great too, absolutely delicious and again such wonderful attention to detail. We had a perfect stay and would highly recommend.

it’s a beautiful property , Karen was the perfect host and how lovely she has opened her home to guests ! it’s in a perfect village and location is good to travel to surrounding places !
