The staff is great. The first night was horrible with the worst mattresses and no sleep. They came and switched them to better ones. The room was big and comfy. Although the bathroom was not on same floor. This became annoying after a few days. Not having a bathroom on each floor is a problem. Otherwise the place is great. Good shared kitchen. Clean. Easy parking on street.

Really good communication from the guesthouse manager. There is no one on-site, so you have to come at a pre-arranged time to check in and collect the keys. We were a bit early but the cleaning lady was there and she contacted the manager and he came straight away. Very friendly and helpful, he gave a lot of recommendations for the island. The guesthouse is very spacious, there are 2 or 3 rooms upstairs, and 2 more downstairs, plus shared kitchen, lounge and bathroom. The kitchen is very well equipped, easy to make meals. There are two rooms in the shared bathroom area, each room has one toilet and a shower. We stayed in the India room and it was quite spacious. The cleaning lady came every day to clean the whole place. It was always tidy and clean. There is street parking right outside and in the surrounding streets. Short walk to some cafes/little shops.

The bed was a little bit springy and uncomfortable. There was a bad septic smell coming from the shared bathrooms on our last day, which was a bit unpleasant when trying to cook in the kitchen next door. It was a little bit tricky going to the toilet in the middle of the night from an upstairs room - the bathroom is a bit far, it's dark and the stairs and hallway are creaky so it's hard not to make noise and not bump into things.

Good ratio for price&quality, location, terrace, and personnel

Really convenient location at the very heart of the town, with parking spots usually available in the surrounding streets. The room and the external bathroom had everything I needed for a short stay and were clean and well kept. For example, all the used towels were replaced daily. Very attentive personnel also, Ricardo gave me useful instructions and was very helpful.
