Manuela is a fantastic host. She was helpful, friendly and fun! And sent us on our way with fresh boiled eggs she had just collected from her hens. Dinner was fantastic and so was breakfast. Our room was comfortable, great bed, and her dog moon is awesome. We are cycling the Via Francigena and had problems with one of our bikes. She called a nearby bike shop who agreed to help us and she gave us great advice on an alternate route leaving from the shop that avoided a big climb. She was also patient and helpful with our rudimentary Italian. Highly recommend.

If you are cycling or walking, be aware that this is at the top of a big hill. But it is worth the effort. Also, note that the bathroom is downstairs from your room in case you are a frequent nocturnal visitor.

Beautiful old house on the Via Francigena. The host was excellent.

Arrived wet and bedraggled after thunderstorms and unable to complete this via Francigena leg due to some flooding of pilgrim path. Met by wonderful host in fabulous house, beautiful food and very comfortable bed. Terrific.

Beautiful 100 year old house, incredibly peaceful Breakfast and dinner were fantastic

Prachtige plek bovenop de berg, goed bereikbaar, maar wel via kronkelende weggetjes. Het door gastvrouw Manuela bereide diner was top: voorafjes, primo, secundo en dolce, allemaal zelf gemaakt en grotendeels uit eigen tuin. Ook hele goede wijn erbij, kortom wij waren blij verrast.

De badkamer is op de begane grond, de woon/eetkamer op de 1e verdieping en de slaapkamer op de 2e. Maar in zo'n oud huis is nu eenmaal niet alles optimaal te krijgen

I proprietari Manuela, Tommaso e la loro piccola Clelia sono stati fin da subito molto accoglienti e mi hanno messo a mio agio. Io ero con il mio cane(un border collie buonissimo) che ha trovato spazio nel loro ampio giardino e ha fatto amicizia con la loro Moon. Per esperienza, non sempre i posti “Pet friendly” mantengono la promessa. Il mattino seguente mi hanno servito un’ottima colazione, arricchita dalle loro uova e frutta del loro orto. Consiglio a tutti un soggiorno da loro!
