Location for Wykeham Collegiate was great

I booked a room last minute for Friday / Saturday. Friday everything was fine, no breakfast on Saturday was available. Then when I arrived home from dinner at 8pm on Saturday there were around 15pax having dinner playing loud music and drinking. This continued until 2am the next morning when everyone left. These were clearly not guests and as a woman traveling alone I felt very unsafe and vulnerable. Sunday again no breakfast on offer. Grateful to have found a last minute booking but having people that are not even guest partying until 2am is not acceptable. Room had no hot tub as advertised

Place is under renovations

We arrived to check in at the time we had indicated on the booking but there was nobody there, we waited for quite a while outside the gate. The room that we had specifically booked had been give to other guests. The owner did come to assist as the manager on duty was not available. There are renovations going on at the property at the moment which will improve the look of the buildings.

The check in process could have been more efficient. Some milk in the fridge would have been great and possibly a hairdryer available for the guests use.

The breakfast was scrumptious and delicious. My family especially the children enjoyed it. The location is easy to find and secured. It offers a more relaxing sense of fun and security.

I was satisfied with the establishment. There is not much to not like about the place and some parts of the BnB are under refurbishment, which then gives an idea of an even more comfortable place to stay in.

I waited outside the gate at night for up to 30 mins, People at the venue were not prepared. I will never book that place again
