La Dolce Sosta

Il posto è davvero incantevole. In mezzo alla natura. Con il canto degli uccellini.. Molto tranquillo. La stanza nuova e ben arredata. Giulia ci ha fatto trovare dell'acqua in frigorifero e anche il bollitore con una scelta di te. Ringrazio moltissimo per la sua gentilezza e la sua ospitalità! Mi stavo dirigendo da Roma verso il nord Italia e la sosta per la notte era poco distante dall'autostrada. Quindi anche la posizione è molto buona. Lontana dal caos della metropoli.

I have booked a two bedroom dog friendly apartment, and I let the host know that we have two dogs. When we arrived to the apartment there was only one room with one bed. After a few minutes of arguing the host opened the room next door and gave us another room. The host stated that we are not allowed to push the furnitures to any other place other than where they are, we are not allowed to make any noise after 11 pm, because there are old people living next door. It’s fair enough we didn’t go there to party…at 11:05 pm they started to banging on the wall saying we are loud… we were quietly talking, no laughing, no television, no music, no alcohol, just talking very quietly. Next day we left the dogs in their own cage for a short time. Soon after we left the host called us saying “ you have 10 minutes to come back, your dogs are barking, we got a call from the old neighbours” we run back because we thought there must be something happened with the dogs as they used to their cage and we never had any problem before. When we arrived the dogs were quiet and sleeping in their cage. We had very short time so we got upset that we were dragged back and asked the host to come and talk to us. But she didn’t come to us, she sent some of her relative who didn’t speak English.. so we couldn’t discuss anything with her either. After this we left but the place still charged us for 2 nights… horrible experience.
