B&B Le Giare

The garden Was Great. It is situated in less than 10 minutes walk from the beach/ railway station and not far from the old town. But of course you need to find the stairs that lead you there. If you go down approximately 200-300 meters on the main road, it will be on the left side and looks like if you entered to a private property, but not. I think it is written number 42 or something on the wall, but keep going because it is a public pass way. The breakfast was fine, and sufficient. The room was clean and nicely decorated. Staff was really friendly.

Amazing place! Definitely recommend staying here! The place is so cute and has a beautiful view as well as lots of flowers and nature around it. You can sit on the patio and enjoy the scenery. The place was very clean and tidy, and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast is served every morning and is delicious. The lady makes you coffee or tea, and she is super lovely. The place is a 6ish minute walk from the beach and numerous resteraunts and gelato places. Walk a little further, and you'll find the Old Town where there are more restaurants and shops that are nice to wander around. The place is very close to the train station as well, and there is a complementary pick-up service that runs every hour but when we arrived the lady organised for the van to pick us up earlier so we didn't have to wait as long. The place is up on a hill with a stairway down to the main beach area. It's not a short walk, but there are 160 stairs, so if you take that into account when booking this place. I will definitely come back and stay here next time I come to Monterosso.

What an amazing place. Staff, breakfast, room, everything was great.

The shuttle needs to run more often or on demand. No 11:00 am shuttle was a real problem for us making the train, but staff made alternate arrangements and helped us out immensely. Warning - it is up a steep hill, or you can cut the hill in 1/2 and take 160 steps up as a shortcut. If you can take the steps (we could) then we highly recommend!

The accommodation was in a lovely quiet part of monterosso and the room was spacious. The host responded to my questions promptly and was very helpful.

When we arrived, we were shown where breakfast was served, but weren't told it was 10 euro per person, and we had to provide advanced notice if we wanted breakfast. The bed was not comfortable, and there were limited self catering supplies, no knife to cut foccacia or cheese etc.

The room was very comfortable and the location was perfect. The shuttle to the village was also very convenient.
