Bang in Wells

Lovely breakfast. Very helpful staff. Perfect location.

Bathroom at bottom of stairs. Difficult for us oldies in the night.

The Hayloft room on 2 levels,a small slightly smelly ensuite downstairs with a tiny shower cubicle. A steep staircase led to an attic bedroom,restricted by two very low beams on each side of the bed leaving a very small space at the foot or the bed where you could stand upright. Creaky floorboards,hazardous beams, the loo down steep stairs and a quilt of Winter weight make this room uncomfortable and definitely not worth the money.

Breakfast was good. Location was ideal as short walk to catch bus and the sea front, and evening stroll for ice cream/fish & chips and walking the coastal path in either direction. Liked the period features retained in the room and bare wooden floor boards (cleaner than carpets). Liked having breakfast in the courtyard when sun was out. Because of location and facilities, it was a good place for being a lone traveller.

Josh and the team were excellent. We have eaten at Bang before, but this was the first time we stayed. Room was excellent and very clean. The breakfast was as good as ever. The staff could not have done more especially on such a busy weekend.

Exceed our expectations. Friendly staff, nice environment, great room.

A very comfortable room and ensuite shower room

The design of the staircase to the room made it difficult to use as the handrails are not fully exposed and it is narrow and winding with a small landing.

Room a bit snug - height wise

Breakfast was acceptable but there could have been more choice eg cereals.

the access to the room was up steep stairs which we found difficult especially since there was no adequate handrail. Despite being a bistro there was no evening meal available on the days we stayed.

Lovely sized bedroom with a great shower

Some furniture in need of updating due to damage.

Fab room with separate little lounge area. fridge with fresh milk and water. Nice mugs (not tiny teacups) and wine glasses provided 👍🏻
