B&B La Goletta di Salina

Perfect location only a 5 min walk to town. Beautiful room with coffee facilities included!

Simone was an amazing host. She provided transportation from the Salina port and shared restaurant and shopping ideas. The room was very clean and comfortable with a view of the sea. The bathroom and shower was large and fresh linens and towels were provided after 3 days. Location is very close to quaint little town and many great hikes are nearby. Great time!

We had 2 rooms for 5 people and the rooms were lovely. Well furnished and clean. The views of the island and the sea were beautiful and very relaxing. The location on the beach was great and it was a short walk into the small town of Santa Maria Salina. Simona, the host, was not on site, but she was helpful via Whats App. She provided a suggestion for local car rental. The late checkout was much appreciated.

We stayed in October - which is after the Summer peak. Breakfast is not served after September, so our B&B was just a Bed. We were very disappointed to not have any option for breakfast at a "Bed and Breakfast". The description of the property included daily servicing of our room, which did not happen. We had a coffee machine and kettle, but only provided with 2 coffee pods for 5 people for a 2 night stay. Unfortunately one of these pods burst and while emptying it into the bin, coffee grounds spilt on the floor and splashed a bit on the wall near the garbage. I wiped up the spill with the floor towel and now Simona the host has sent a bill for 50 Euro for damages.

I thought the room was nicely decorated and the bed was comfortable.

The area around the property isn’t very nice and when coming or going at night it’s very dark on the street outside. I also didn’t like that it’s listed as a B&B and there was no breakfast.

Beautiful B&B overlooking the Aeolian islands. Large spacious stylish room. Host Simona was fantastic with helpful tips on things around Salina.

Nice accomodation, near the center and port. Comfortable bed, right at the beach. There is a trail nearby that goes to the top of the island. The lady owner was the most gentle person. We had trouble with transport due to wild sea, and she let us stay far in the afternoon after check out. Thank you!
