The breakfast was outstanding. And the staff was brilliant.

Didn't like that we were on the top floor, too many steps at my age. The cleanliness wasn't exceptional.

We stayed for 3 nights for my 64th birthday. The location was absolutely spot on....2 mins walk to Bowness centre. The accommodation was very clean and comfortable. Mine host Jill was very attentive, even helping us with our bags on arrival, she couldn't really do enough for us. Car parking was a 2 minute walk and was £21.60 for 3 days !! (Bargain !!) Good choice of breakfasts, I opted for the Cumbrian (excellent). I would definitely recommend a visit.

"Difficult - we love the B and B but needs some investment regarding the windows to make is presentable and safe"

Been at the bay house several times before and the new owners are doing a great job. Breakfast was very good and room clean and well equipped

The building desperately needs new windows as the woodwork is rotten - hopefully this will be done soon

Bay House was basically comfortable,the proprietor was very nice, breakfast good. The location was very central and convenient.

I should note that we arrived to find our room bright, perfectly clean and absolutely in order. And while it didn't matter, given our short stay, I also note that no one entered subsequently to make up the room during our stay.

We arrived at the guest house & Jill who owned it met us, very friendly & always smiling, she showed us to the room & it was lovely & clean & we had a view with the lake, the breakfast was absolutely beautiful, they couldn't do enough for you, would highly recommend the guest house & would stay again, your also right in the middle of the centre so close to everything. ❤️
