"Loved it being so near to the lake, plenty of pubs , restaurants and shops"

We arrived super early as we expected the roads and motorway to be hectic as easter weekend. Jill made us welcome the minute we landed, and made us a breakfast even though she didnt have to do any of this.The view onto the lake ( we had the bay window on the 1st floor) the super comfy bed, the breakfast lovely with plenty of choice, full English, cereal, marmalade, jams, tea, coffee. More than enough to set us up for the day.. our room so seriously cozy and comfy with kettle in the room and hair dryer.

The shower was very weak

Great location, friendly lovely people. Very helpful. Great full English breakfast.

Decour is a little dated, needs freshening up. Only 2 electricity sockets, so had to keep unplugging things to use hairdryer/straighteners/charge items, would not stop me returning.

Beautiful hotel. Very clean and well maintained. Jill was very welcoming, polite and helpful as soon as she greeted us at the door right to the end of our stay. The breakfast was exceptional too! The hotel was just a short walk to the pubs, shops and promenade too.

I don't have anything negative to say about the stay!

Had a lovely stay at the Bay House. Hosts were so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Our room was clean and had everything we needed. We were on the top floor, had a great view of the lake and 2 minutes walk from Bowness. Breakfast was lovely and plenty to fill us up for the day! The Bay House was good value for money and we will stay there again without hesitation 🙂

No parking at the Bay House, but stayed in long stay car park just 5 minutes walk away.
