Both the owner and the gentleman covering for him on the Saturday were very pleasant and helpful. We had continental breakfast as we were leaving early on the first morning and a lovely cooked breakfast on the second

Excellent standard of accomodation. Far exceeded our expectations. Everything we needed and more.

The owners seemed nice, although I only had one brief interaction with them which was to pick up the key at 4pm. But the room was very modern, airy, clear and tidy, you get the option to keep your towels or have them cleaned (although I was only there for one night so it didn't affect me), the bed was very comfortable and the location is perfect for the three peaks, like, couldn't be any better. They have amenities like TV and wi-fi. It's a picturesque area and a couple of nice pubs nearly. It's also only a few minutes walk from the train station for those who don't want to drive. Couldn't ask for very much more, reasonably priced too given the location.

I didn't actually eat breakfast whilst I was there. The cooked breakfast doesn't start until either 8 or 8.30 and I left at 6.30 to do the three peaks so didn't get chance to sample it (which is fine, I knew that when I booked the room). The one slight downside is that the early breakfast (which I heard somewhere described as continental) wasn't really very continental, it was only really bread, cereal and fruit and I didn't end up having any. Which was no great hardship because I had brought enough food with me to feed an army anyway and was able to store perishable items in their guest fridge.
