Well maintained beautiful heritage property. This property is magical . Gopal ji ( caretaker ) very humble and genuine person. He is the most valuable asset to the property. Mr. Vishal Jain ( owner ) genuine and down to earth gentleman just a call away if you need any assistance. He assisted us for local sight seeing at a reasonable pricing and took good care of us during our 3 night stay . Bon fire experience was awesome . View from this place is spectacular. Located at the heart of the Solan . Whenever we will visit Solan . This would be our house unquestionably. Thanks for everything .

Solan Retreat is a fabulous property to stay at. Located at a prime location on the Mall Road (it's just a staircase away), this heritage property offers all of the modern comforts you could ask for. It's quite literally a home away from home with all the warm vibes packed in. The host was very polite and answered all our questions about sites around Solan. Delicious homemade food was available for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The garden and the view of the city from it were spectacular. The WiFi was reliable and I could comfortably work during the day.

The property could do with a bit of upkeep considering it is a really old house. General tidiness could also be improved.

We had a fantastic stay at this Heritage Hotel. The house is very charming and full of character and history. It has a very nice garden where we sipped tea.The house is located very close to the main road, with shops, restaurants and transport available nearby. Room was very clean, well equipped and comfortable. We didn't feel cold thanks to the massive heater. The owner Vishal was very helpful and attentive for our whole stay and he is always present at the property. His helper Gopal cooks delicious breakfast. Hope to get back!
