Very nice and friendly host.

The staff were very nice, very flexible and responsive. It’s in the very center and they have some parasols if you need. Water pressure in the shower is really good.

They don’t have air conditioner which could be a bit challenge. We were okay with a little fan they had for our stay in the mid June but it’ll be a struggle if it was hotter. It’s in the central so if you leave the window open it’s quite noise until late night.

Localisation is top! And the view from the window is cool.

Lack of AC. It is impossible to manage summer time there. Breakfast is really poor. Deep frozen croissant and old bread, 1 slice of meat and 1 slice of cheese. This is pathetic.

Everything is very clean, the bed is super comfortable, the host is very friendly.

It would be great to have air conditioning or soundproof windows, as it was difficult to open the window for fresh air when it got very noisy outside.

The location has the most beautiful views to the see and city center. The room was very clean and we had a nice breakfast too. Antonio was very kind and friendly. We practised our Italian with him which made our experience feel very authentic.

WiFi was weak but it wasn’t a problem for us

The hosts Antonio and Maria absolutely make this accommodation worth staying in. They are so incredibly kind and accommodating! Giving recommendations, always checking in to see how your day went and asking what your plans are over breakfast. For my boyfriend’s birthday, they surprised us with balloons and a cake/singsong over breakfast which was so lovely! The breakfast itself was delicious, and you can’t beat the views overlooking the historic centre with charming buildings and the sea in the near distance. Sadly our Italian is extremely poor and the same goes for Antonio and Maria’s English, but nothing a few hand gestures and translator app can’t solve! The location of this property is unbeatable. You are right in the historic centre and everything is walkable. I recommend eating at “that’s amore” restaurant for good pizza and vibes! 100% would stay here again, just to experience their gorgeous hospitality.

Look, it’s not luxury, the morning noises from birds and bin collections will likely wake you up around 7:30/08:00 (in time for breakfast though!) and it’s a simple accommodation, a nice place to sleep (bring ear buds as you are in the centre!). But the hosts absolutely make it and knowing you’re supporting a small, family business by staying here is an added bonus to their hospitality.

We had a wonderful stay at this charming bed and breakfast in Tropea! Antonia and Maria were incredibly kind and helpful — even though we didn’t speak the same language, we understood each other perfectly :). Their hospitality truly went above and beyond, making us feel so welcome and cared for. It was a beautiful, authentic Italian experience that we’ll never forget. Breakfast was also wonderful every morning. Highly recommend!
