Agriresort Villa Bentivoglio

This B&B is a true gem! The hospitality is exceptional, making you feel right at home. Breakfast is a feast, with a wide variety of fresh, delicious options to satisfy every palate. The rooms are immaculate and impeccably maintained. You won't find a more welcoming and comfortable stay. Highly recommend!

Our stay at B&B Bentivoglio was great. Guisy made us delicious breakfasts of courgette flower omelettes with fresh bread and fruit. She was so kind and helpful, using her translator app to communicate with us. We managed to do a wash of our clothes which was also very helpful. We rested and visited nearby Piazza Armerina.

It is tricky to get there by car at first.

Villa Bentivoglio is a little rural retreat with the loveliest people looking after it and us. Breakfast was outstanding with fresh local produce and a considerable selection to choose from. We are sorry we didn’t get the opportunity to visit their produce gardens which would have been wonderful, but we were a little short of time to visit the amazing Vila Romana del Casale nearby. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, as are the bathrooms.

There is lithium g not to like!

The staff there are so helpful and friendly. We felt like we were at home! It was a great relaxing stay there that we did not really go out. We stayed by the pool and relaxed in the outside area also a very big open space inside where the kids could play. Guzi, the helper made sure that we all had a good breakfast and that the area was always clean, we had great conversations and also played with the kids. Luigi made sure that he came everyday and that everything was ok with our rooms and our stay.. we also had the pleasure to meet his son and he played with our kids. I would definately visit again and recommend this villa. As a plus there is lots of nature, horses, cows that you can see. Also there is a big super market just 9 mins away! Thank you for making our stay a memorable one! :)

Very friendly day staff, clean facilities. We had a very hard time finding the place, partially due to the fact that we has come from the wrong direction.

Unfortunately the pool had not been cleaned yet.

Absolute dream villa, cleanest ever, very sweet and welcoming people who will do everything. We could cook ourselves. lovely breakfast.

We left Taormina after breakfast and arrived at the Villa Romana del Casale before noon. The remains of the 4th century villa is definitely a unique stop while touring the island. Leaving the villa, it was a short drive through Piazza Armerina to the beautiful B&B Villa Bentivoglio. Our B&B hosts, Valentina & Luigi, welcomed us to their beautiful, typical Sicilian country home. The whole time we were with this lovely couple, we used the handy ‘Translate app,’ to accurately communicate. We were staying only one night so we were lodging in the recently renovated main house. After unloading luggage, Valentina offered us snacks and drink while telling us about the Villas property and amenities. She offered suggestions for dinner in Piazza Armerina, and shared there is also a pizza delivery service that will come to the villa. We drove into town, but decided to return to B&B Villa Bentivoglio without dinner, finding ourselves alone in the house. We were unsuccessful ordering from the pizza delivery service. We called Valentina and Luigi, who were in town, and explained our mess-up and asked them if they would call the delivery service for us. Our hosts offered to assist us. Foregoing dinner in town, Valentina and Luigi returned to the B&B, sharing FOUR pizzas and arancini. Luigi even opened a bottle of the wine created on their property! We were welcomed at their table as family. This 2-hour meal, communicating via the translator, was one of our favorite meals in Sicily, sharing stories and lots of laughs. The next morning, we enjoyed a hot breakfast, prepared by Giusy, by the pool. After breakfast, Luigi gave us a personal tour of the whole property, showing us the stand-alone, newly renovated guest villas, the garden and areas for future expansion. Luigi put the Land Rover in 4WD and we climbed to the top of the property to view the whole area. Luigi is very proud of the property… as he should be.

Honestly, there was nothing to not like at the B&B... the house and stand-alone villas are very comfortable and complete. Valentina and Luigi have thought of everything. Even Giusy was kind enough to gift us homemade seasonal packets for cooking once home.

The location is perfect if you want a quiet stay, away from the city hustle ! The room was very big and comfortable and the breakfast was excellent (with fresh fruits) The hosts Luigi and Giuzi are incredibly nice and flexible. We had a great time!

Just be aware that Piazza Armerina is not so close (15 min by car) and that you will need to drive on mountain / countryside roads
